Live Music Friday! Tresa Day Trio

September 24, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

FREE

LIVE MUSIC – FREE ADMISSION
At Main Street Park
Please bring a chair, a snack to eat (or buy takeout from one of the great Waynesboro restaurants), BYOB or buy a great beer from Rough Edges Brewery, and celebrate live music!
(In case of inclement weather, the performance will take place at Gallery 50/Music Makers.)
Tresa Day is a singer/guitarist whose influences range from 40s jazz, rhythm & blues, to folk and classic country. While her performing repertoire represents these influences, she interprets these treasured songs with her own expressive voice and style.
Her trio is comprised of drummer and multi-instrumentalist Sam Hepfer and bassist/guitarist Mark Bryson. Sam is a diverse drummer, performing with jazz ensembles, a classic rock band, Dixieland, and a pit drummer for area theater productions. Mark Bryson, also a versatile multi-instrumentalist, has played and recorded with a variety of bands and worship teams over the years. Both Mark and Sam are respected instructors at the Cumberland Valley School of Music, Chambersburg, PA.
Gallery 50, Music Makers, and Destination ARTS! are all initiatives of the non-profit Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro. Free live music has been presented in Waynesboro every weekend since July 2013 (except when closed during the pandemic). Donations are gratefully accepted to help keep Live Music Fridays and other events going.
The CDC now advises that everyone should wear a mask when visiting a public space indoors and outdoors when not able to socially distance. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe and allowing us to to continue presenting live music!

Inclement Weather Policy

The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro (AAGW) recognizes the fact that inclement weather can affect the organizations’s ability to be open for business, hold events, and the employees’ and volunteers’ abilities to get to and attend events. The safety of the AAGW’s employees and volunteers is paramount to the organization. If any of the following events occur, Gallery 50, Music Makers, and all events associated with the AAGW are considered cancelled for that day:

(1) The governor declares a weather emergency and asks people to stay off the roads

(2) Waynesboro Area School District cancels school or after-school activities due to inclement weather

(3) Penn State Mont Alto cancels evening classes.

The AAGW will make every attempt to update social media to reflect the cancellation by 3pm for any evening events and by 8:30am for any morning events, but any notification stating one of the (3) events listed above has occurred should be considered notification of the cancellation.
