Trinity Players Presents:  “FREUD’S LAST SESSION”

WHEN:  Thursday and Friday, Nov. 7 and 8 at 7:30 PM.  Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 9 and 10 at 2:30 PM

WHERE:  Trinity United Church of Christ Harbaugh Hall

WHO:  H. Clayton Moyer as Sigmund Freud and Donovan L. Yaukey as C.S. Lewis

“Freud’s Last Session” centers on legendary psychoanalyst Freud, dying a painful death from oral cancer, and on rising academic star C.S. Lewis.

Invited to Freud’s London study as World War II is erupting, Lewis expects to be called on the carpet for satirizing Freud in a recent book.  He soon realizes he has been invited to participate in a much more significant agenda as they clash passionately on love, sex, the meaning of life, and extensively on the existence of God. Not just a powerful debate, this is a profound and deeply touching play about two men who boldly addressed the greatest questions of all time.

“Freud’s Last Session,” a 75-minute gem of a play based on Dr. Armand Nicholi’s book  “The Question of God,” is an exciting battle of wits and an intellectually thrilling theatre experience.

Tickets will be available at the door for $7.00 and in advance (details yet to be announced).  Everyone, teenage and older, is encouraged to attend. Email[email protected] for more info or to inquire about advanced purchases.
