Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro Seeks Community Input

The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro (AAGW) seeks community input as it develops its strategic plan.  AAGW asks community members interested in giving voice to their thoughts to fill out the short survey above.  Please respond by November 18,

There will also be a community meeting open and free to the public on Tuesday November 19 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the Waynesboro Middle School Auditorium.   All are welcome.

The AAGW was established just last year as a local non-profit organization with a mission of fostering communication and supporting economic development in the Waynesboro area through the arts.

AAGW and its inaugural program, Destination ARTS!, enjoyed immediate and overwhelming success, bringing visitors from 25 states and 8 countries and selling over $24,000 in artwork. Though exciting, this success brought to the forefront the need for organizational structure, cooperative planning, and long term sustainability.

The goal of the strategic planning process is to structure an organization which is efficient, responsive to community needs, and poised to co-function with existing programs and organizations.

Please take time to share your vision for the future of arts in Waynesboro!
