Destination ARTS! activities continue in Waynesboro, PA, with live music every weekend, and multiple events and artist demonstrations scheduled throughout December. December 6 and 7 will feature Tim Franklin (alternative folk-rock), Mitch Morrill (blues-classic rock), and the duo of Patrick McNamee and Erin Regan (popular standards).
“Gallery 50”, 50 West Main St., Waynesboro, will feature the following musicians for the upcoming weekend:
Friday, December 6
5 – 8 pm – Tim Franklin (vocals and guitar) is a nomadic singer/songwriter/guitarist and frontman for the Seattle chamber rock band Pillow Army. His songs are eclectic, but anchored in rock music; particularly leaning toward the folk-alternative rock sound. As a solo performer, he utilizes effects, looping, and percussive strumming techniques to create a surprisingly full sound.
Saturday, December 7
1 – 3 pm – Patrick McNamee (clarinet and tenor sax) and Erin Regan (piano and vocals). Patrick McNamee is the recently retired Band Director at Waynesboro Area Senior High School. Erin Regan is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory, with extensive performance experience in regional theatres along the East Coast and Midwest. She performs locally with the “Nonviolent Ferns”. They will be performing popular standards.
4 – 6 pm – Mitch Morrill (vocals and guitar). Having performed regionally for the past 35 years as a singer-songwriter, this seasoned professional is well known for his emotive blues and classic rock performances with bands such as Dem Guise. His solo performances are intimate and engaging.
