ELIANE AMBROSE – The body of work in this exhibit reflects movement that is at once elemental and whimsical with shades of both nostalgia and angst. Pieces, at first glance, appear to be rooted in realism but contain strong surrealistic undertones.  While some of the work dances, there is a gravitational pull that denies the quest to soar. Violence and desolation permeate the message in a way that is disturbing. But visitors to the gallery will find themselves drawn to the artist’s expression of a journey that sometimes seems personal. The exhibit will hang till the end of December.

Art classes begin on Monday Jan 6, 2014 at the Waynesboro location. Preregister by contacting ; email;[email protected]  or call 304-261-4516
