Marjorie Tressler is facilitating a painting session and demo with a focus on the learning process of painting from a student’s perspective. While there, check our Winter White display with Samantha the Snow Queen and artwork featuring winter scenes.

Friday, January 12, 2017 – Musical Demonstration:

5:30 to 8 p.m. 42 West ARTS Co-Op – 42 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268. Patric Schlee will entertain visitors with a variety of musical instruments, including the didgeridoo, flute, and drums. While there, enjoy pieces of art from the members’ Fire & Ice Show as well as pieces from December and January’s featured artist Terry Lynn Benson. Wine and light refreshments will be served. Friday, January 12, 2018 – Live Music Friday:


5:30 to 8 p.m. Music Makers – 46 W. Main St.
, Waynesboro, PA 17268. Waylon K. Smith and Eli August share the spotlight this Friday. 

Smith is a singer/songwriter and one half of The Positronic Cats. He writes progressive folk tunes about love, revenge, and the future, and is inspired by David Bowie, Nick Cave, Radiohead, and The Decemberists. 

Eli August’s music features percussive guitar, banjo and delicately-crafted lyrics. His Dark Americana music is devoted to romantics and those with a certain longing for the past. Eli will have you tapping your foot, singing along and reminiscing of your own long-ago journeys.

Monday, January 15, 2017 – Oil & Acrylic Painting Class:

1 to 4 p.m. Gallery 50 – 50 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268. Marjorie Tressler invites artists of all ability levels to attend her weekly painting class in Gallery 50 that will cover both oil and acrylic mediums. Marjorie is a classically trained artist who teaches drawing, color theory and composition in the style of the old masters. These fun and relaxed sessions are $65 for 6 classes. Monday, January 15, 2018 – Artists Connection:

6:30 to 8 p.m. 42 West ARTS Co-Op – 42 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA. Artists in any discipline welcome! Come and connect with other artists—an enjoyable evening with fun, food, and discussion. Artists have the opportunity to share ideas, discuss art and the newest techniques they have learned, mentor younger artists, and generally inspire one another. All welcome.

Gallery 50Gallery 50’s (50 West Main Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268) Artwork by local and regional artists is on display and for sale. The walls are filled with fine art paintings in beautiful frames. The tables are covered with outstanding examples of pottery, wood work, jewelry, sculpture, cards and even hand made soaps. Truly an experience for the senses – especially with the addition of music performances during “Wine Down Friday.”

The Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro (13 South Church

Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268) brings together area potters of all skill levels and ages offering classes, workshops, and pottery sales.
