Wednesday, January 17, 2018 – Oil Painting Class:

Thursday, January 18, 2017 – Oil Painting Demonstration:

1 to 4 p.m. Gallery 50 – 50 W. Main Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268. Marjorie Tressler is facilitating a painting session and demo with a focus on the learning process of painting from a student’s perspective. While there, check our Winter White display with Samantha the Snow Queen and artwork featuring winter scenes.

January Featured Artist at Gallery 50 – Hans Guerin

Hans Guerin’s work has been displayed and won awards in exclusive exhibitions and competitions throughout the United States and internationally, including Greenhouse Gallery’s Salon International, the Legacy Gallery’s Scottsdale Salon, the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society’s “Best of America” salons, and the Oil Painters of America National show. Guerin’s artwork has also appeared in several books, including three volumes of Northlight Book’s “Strokes of Genius,” the American Art Collector, the Artist, Art and Beyond, and the International Artist Magazine, which featured a 10-page spread on Guerin and his artist wife, Beth de Loiselle. Several new works by Guerin have recently been added to Gallery 50.

Friday, January 19, 2018 – 6 to 9 p.m. Heart-shaped Spoons Workshop:


6 to 8 p.m. at Ceramic Arts Center, 13 South Church St.
, Waynesboro, PA. Lesley Quesada guides students step-by-step to make their own set of three ceramic spoons, a perfect Valentine’s Day gift. Fee: $25.00, includes all materials, glaze and firings. Friday, January 19, 2018 – Live Music Friday:

5:30 to 8 p.m. Music Makers – 46 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA. 


Wayne Driscoll
has been playing his guitar for people since 1979. For longer than a decade, he has been performing in this area with his band, Lucky Punk. Driscoll’s solo shows are a mix of Lucky Punk standards, original songs and off-the-cuff improvisation. He plays an electric guitar, and is currently taking great care to curate his tone in the “Classic Fender Sound.”

Friday, January 19, 2017 – Musical Demonstration:

5:30 to 8 p.m. 42 West ARTS Co-Op – 42 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268. Patric Schlee will entertain visitors with a variety of musical instruments, including the didgeridoo, flute, and drums. While there, enjoy pieces of art from the members’ Fire & Ice Show as well as pieces from January’s featured artist, Terry Lynn Benson. Wine and light refreshments will be served. Saturday, January 20, 2018 – Watercolor Painting Demonstration:


1 to 3 p.m. 42 West ARTS Co-Op – 42 W. Main St.
, Waynesboro, PA. Artist Janette Koons demonstrates watercolor painting techniques, which allow for spontaneity and freshness in her work. She often discovers new color or composition as a painting develops, not always knowing how the painting will evolve.

Janette is a member of the Waynesboro Studio Art Club, Franklin County Art Alliance, and the Valley Art Association. Her paintings have won various awards and some hang in private and corporate collections around the country, as well as internationally. For more info, call 717-762-8394.

Saturday, January 20, 2018 – Didgeridoo Workshop:


1 to 2:30 p.m. 42 West ARTS Co-Op – 42 W. Main St.
, Waynesboro, PA. Patric Schlee teaches how to play a didgeridoo, an Australian aboriginal long horn. Techniques both basic and advanced will be taught. Take-home practice didgeridoo will be provided. Workshop fee: $15.00 per person or $ 25.00 per couple. For more info, call 717-762-8394.

Saturday, January 20, 2018 – CVSM Music Classes Begin:

Music Makers – 46 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA. In a partnership with Cumberland Valley School of Music, two classes begin on Saturday,January 20. 

Suzuki Strings (All ages)— Saturdays, January 20 – March 24 from 9:30–10:30 AM. Fee: 8 sessions for $79.

Violin Class for Adults (Age 16 & older)— Saturdays, January 20 – March 24 from 10:45–11:45 AM. Fee: 8 sessions for $79.

Monday, January 22, 2017 – Oil & Acrylic Painting Class:

1 to 4 p.m. Gallery 50 – 50 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268. Join Marjorie Tressler for a painting class for artists of all ability levels. Gallery 50Gallery 50’s (50 West Main Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268) Artwork by local and regional artists is on display and for sale. The walls are filled with fine art paintings in beautiful frames. The tables are covered with outstanding examples of pottery, wood work, jewelry, sculpture, cards and even hand made soaps. Truly an experience for the senses – especially with the addition of music performances during “Wine Down Friday.”

The Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro (13 South Church

Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268) brings together area potters of all skill levels and ages offering classes, workshops, and pottery sales.
