Gallery 20 East Re-Opens with “Through the Lens”
During this past summer, a new gallery known as “Through the Lens” was featured as part of the “Destination ARTS!” initiative inside of a previously empty storefront at 74 West Main Street. Now, the photographers who exhibited in that building have moved their work down Main Street, where it will be displayed in Gallery 20 East. Along with returning favorites, several images previously unseen by the public can be viewed at the new location as well.
“Through the Lens” photographers will be sharing the gallery with a group of serious-minded artists known as the “Prometheans.” Composed of regional artists such as Marjorie Tressler, Liz Hurley, Eliane Ambrose and Donna Mason, the “Prometheans” say their purpose is to motivate, inspire and share ideas with anyone who views what they’ve created.
5:00 – 8:00 p.m. – To celebrate the re-opening of Gallery 20 East, members of the community are invited to stop by between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 on Friday night. Wine and light refreshments will be served, with music provided by Ken Jankura (vocals, upright bass) and Joe Dennison (guitar).
