Waynesboro authors, Maxine and Marie Lanser Beck, will be reading excerpts from their latest book, The Royers of Renfrew – Threads of Change, at Christine’s Cafe, located at 81 West Main Street, on Thursday, June 6, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Based on the story of the Royer family who lived on the Pennsylvania German farmstead that is now Renfrew Park in the early part of the 1800s, the Becks’ most recent release is the second in a trilogy.
During the event at Christine’s, they also plan to read portions of their first book, The Royers of Renfrew – A Family Tapestry, as well as provide a sneak preview of their third book, which will be available in September.
