LIVE MUSIC – FREE ADMISSION
Gallery 50 invites you to the opening reception of our new art exhibition, “What a piece of work – Artists’ Reflections of People“. During the reception you can enjoy the acoustic music of Jon Ingels next door in Music Makers.
Jon Ingels is a guitarist and singer/songwriter from Waynesboro, PA, who has written music for Big Whiskey, the Boro Boogie Pickers, Slackwater 3, and the Lowdown Grasskickers. Jon’s lyrical content is a mixture of storytelling, timeless topics, and geographic imagery backed by folk chord patterns, simple melodies, and a blues driven rhythm. His songwriting influences include Steve Earle, Jim Lauderdale, Bob Dylan, and Richard Thompson.
Please enter through Gallery 50 (50 West Main Street) and check out the amazing art! Gallery 50, Music Makers, and Destination ARTS! are all initiatives of the non-profit Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro. Free live music has been presented in Waynesboro every weekend since July 2013 (except when closed during the pandemic). Donations are gratefully accepted to help keep this and other events going.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro (AAGW) recognizes the fact that inclement weather can affect the organizations’s ability to be open for business, hold events, and the employees’ and volunteers’ abilities to get to and attend events. The safety of the AAGW’s employees and volunteers is paramount to the organization. If any of the following events occur, Gallery 50, Music Makers, and all events associated with the AAGW are considered cancelled for that day:

(1) The governor declares a weather emergency and asks people to stay off the roads

(2) Waynesboro Area School District cancels school or after-school activities due to inclement weather

(3) Penn State Mont Alto cancels evening classes.

The AAGW will make every attempt to update social media to reflect the cancellation by 3pm for any evening events and by 8:30am for any morning events, but any notification stating one of the (3) events listed above has occurred should be considered notification of the cancellation.
