NEW ARTWORK – LIVE MUSIC – FREE ADMISSION
Gallery 50 would like to invite you to our SPECTRUM – Realism To Abstraction Art Exhibit Opening Reception.
The 12 featured artists are Cindy Baker, Peg Belcasto, Anne Finucane, David Henry, Melissa Hook, Katrina Hoopes, Kate Keely, Melissa Libertini, Sandra Schuster, Andrew Small, Jennifer Small and Gallery 50 curator Marti Yeager. This impressive exhibit will run from May 5 through July 29, 2023.
The gallery will also have new fine art and crafts by local artists available on the shelves, including pottery, wood carvings, jewelry, and much more.
The Flying Matlocks are Laurie Matlock on guitar & vocals and Scott Matlock on violin, guitar & vocals. They play acoustic rock, country, folk and blues music from the roots of early traditional American tunes through Classic Country and Modern Americana. The Flying Matlocks feature soaring two part harmonies and the delicate yet powerful interplay of guitar and violin.
Please enter through Gallery 50 (50 West Main Street) and check out the amazing art! Gallery 50, Music Makers, and Destination ARTS! are all initiatives of the non-profit Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro. Free live music has been presented in Waynesboro every weekend since July 2013 (except when closed during the pandemic). Donations are gratefully accepted to help keep this and other events going.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro (AAGW) recognizes the fact that inclement weather can affect the organizations’s ability to be open for business, hold events, and the employees’ and volunteers’ abilities to get to and attend events. The safety of the AAGW’s employees and volunteers is paramount to the organization. If any of the following events occur, Gallery 50, Music Makers, and all events associated with the AAGW are considered cancelled for that day:

(1) The governor declares a weather emergency and asks people to stay off the roads

(2) Waynesboro Area School District cancels school or after-school activities due to inclement weather

(3) Penn State Mont Alto cancels evening classes.

The AAGW will make every attempt to update social media to reflect the cancellation by 3pm for any evening events and by 8:30am for any morning events, but any notification stating one of the (3) events listed above has occurred should be considered notification of the cancellation.
