LIVE MUSIC – FREE ADMISSION
Unfortunately, the Stable Shakers Duo had to cancel this week, due to an injury. However, they will be back at Music Makers soon.
Thankfully, the Clendenen Brothers Bluegrass has decided to take their place. CBB is a traditionally-minded, eclectically-influenced group of musical brethren led by singer/songwriter, Nate Clendenen. Indirectly modeled after such genre-bending icons like the Seldom Scene, Old and In the Way, and Leftover Salmon, CBB plays spirited traditional, original, and main-stream material from across the Americana spectrum. Joining Nate Friday night is bassist/singer Johnny Calamari. John Lanehart aka “Johnny Calamari” is a Waynesboro native who has gained notoriety for playing bass in various regional and national bluegrass, roots, and rock bands. We are BYOB.
Please enter through Gallery 50 (50 West Main Street) and check out the amazing art! Gallery 50, Music Makers, and Destination ARTS! are all initiatives of the non-profit Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro. Free live music has been presented in Waynesboro every weekend since July 2013 (except when closed during the pandemic). Donations are gratefully accepted to help keep this and other events going.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro (AAGW) recognizes the fact that inclement weather can affect the organizations’s ability to be open for business, hold events, and the employees’ and volunteers’ abilities to get to and attend events. The safety of the AAGW’s employees and volunteers is paramount to the organization. If any of the following events occur, Gallery 50, Music Makers, and all events associated with the AAGW are considered cancelled for that day:

(1) The governor declares a weather emergency and asks people to stay off the roads

(2) Waynesboro Area School District cancels school or after-school activities due to inclement weather

(3) Penn State Mont Alto cancels evening classes.

The AAGW will make every attempt to update social media to reflect the cancellation by 3pm for any evening events and by 8:30am for any morning events, but any notification stating one of the (3) events listed above has occurred should be considered notification of the cancellation.
