The Urban Arts Festival is our newest effort to celebrate art and diversity in Waynesboro. The event is free and takes place on August 18, 2018 from 5-8pm. It’s been organized in collaboration by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro, MainStreet Waynesboro, and Tereance Moore Consulting. The festival showcases artists, performers, musicians from surrounding cities. Urban Art is all about city life and culture and celebrating the amazingly diverse population in the Waynesboro area.
The festival will be held primarily in MainStreet Park, located at 21 E. Main Street, with some performances also occurring in the streets and galleries. It will be a celebration of urban and artistic culture for the community, art lovers, and families. The festival features artists, music, poets, media arts, live street art, and mural painting displays.
We hope to have the community benefit from this in many ways including: opportunities to experience art from other areas, support other artists, and hear musical talents that do not perform regularly in the area.
We look forward to sharing free event this with you and having you join us on August 18th from 5-8pm.

Unlimited Praise- Unlimited Praise is a Mother/Daughter duo (Trunda & Tiara). We are Contemporary Gospel artists with an out of the box style of worship. We write songs that reflect our experiences, as we journey with God, through everyday life. In March of 2016, we released our first EP self-titled: Unlimited Praise. And in August 2018, we started our second Cd, titled: Intimacy (In to Me See) under the production of Vocal Ink Production. We believe our messages are to be sung to the nations; to give hope, inspiration, healing and restoration to a God who desires to be one with His people, no matter what life throws at you!

Sonia Vanegas- I’m an illustrator and a painter. As far as I can remember art has always been in my heart. It wasn’t until 2015 I decided to open an art gallery and share my works with the public. The biggest question I am asked is where my inspiration comes from. Against popular belief it’s not from me, but instead from you. It’s about humans: their emotions, thoughts, longings, funny moments, movements, energy, and heart.
