Gallery 50’s (50 West Main Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268) Artwork by local and regional artists is on display and for sale. The walls are filled with fine art paintings in beautiful frames. The tables are covered with outstanding examples of pottery, wood work, jewelry, sculpture, cards and even hand made soaps. Truly an experience for the senses – especially with the addition of music performances during “Wine Down Friday.”

The Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro (13 South Church
Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268) brings together area potters of all skill levels and ages offering classes, workshops, and pottery sales. The galleries feature oil paintings, watercolors, pottery, sculptures, jewelry, photographs, furniture, and more. Most art is available for sale and there is no charge for admission to the galleries.

Facilitated by Brad Munn, the Open Mics occurred every other Wednesday and were intended to give local musicians a platform to polish their performance skills and try new songs. Featured performers will be Brian Lutz, Ginny Gill, Brian Shermeyer, Ethan Larsh, Kevin Trayno, and Brad Munn.

Mainstreet Waynesboro, Destination ARTS! and the businesses of downtown Waynesboro are planning an afternoon of fun activities and special summer promotions for our community. Visit our Chill Out station from 2 to 4 p.m. at the M&T parking lot to meet members of the Waynesboro Fire Department who will be giving tours of their firetruck. A van from Sweet Frog will also be around selling frozen 
yogurt along with water from Roaring Spring Water. Kids wear a bathing suit because you might get wet! The Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro will have a table set up for kids to create a free pottery craft to paint and decorate from 2 to 4 p.m. at the corner of South Church street and Main Street. The Waynesboro Children’s Theatre will be performing at Center Square from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a performance by the popular Celtic band Across the Pond from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information, call
